Congratulations go out to Pastor Gayle for 2 reasons this week.
1. Pastor had a conference interview this past Friday and was recommended by for the next step in her ordination process.
The Congregation is very proud and happy for her!
2. Pastor has a birthday coming up on Tuesday and the congregation surprised her with a birthday present today.

Lord, form within us a new heart
We are deeply aware that there is a struggle going on in us.
We turn to You, that we might not become discouraged.
We rely on Your compassion and love for us.
We acknowledge who we are:
--sinners who experience the consequences of our selfishness--
though we know we are loved and we desire to be filled with hope.
Fill us with the hope of the cross and resurrection.
